A period of collaboration within the architectural firm Erik Juul Architects, during which the different concepts were compared directly with the owner of the studio.

During this journey, architect Erik Juul illustrated a series of projects focusing on attitudes, moods and emotions that architecture should transfer.

So the SummerHouses, homes for vacation, generally the seafront, which represents the home for the weekend and for the holidays, can invite you to live a different life compared to what you usually have in the city.

We no longer speak of form and aesthetics, but of sensations. The project is guided by a single concept based on the livability of the environment, on the freedom to enjoy it as it is, without constraints and constraints.

The immediacy and simplicity of giving and receiving emotions will be appreciated in the project. But what are these emotions? First of all the absolute "non dominance" of the house as compared to the landscape.

The presence of the house will still allow you to fully enjoy nature. The essence of the house itself can then be decomposed into all its functions (eating, sleeping, hygiene, work, storage, energy). An architectural unit can be assigned to each functions and at the end it will remember the large stones, variously arranged, originating from a single big block.

These elements will be part of a large planning and will be arranged in such a way that they create equally attractive spaces. It will create a courtyard-terrace that will be the link between everyone.

In such a scenario as described above, therefore, there will no longer be any division between the usability of the internal and external environments: the house opens to the outside and the exterior itself becomes the way to take advantage of all the interior spaces.

A whole series of different relationships will put the elements in touch. At this moment the form will follow this relationship to: the terrace floor will rise on the facade to become a roof and to create a shell.
